The British Virgin Islands, known as the BVI or BVIs, are a chain of 60 stunningly beautiful islands which lie in the Sir Francis Drake Channel in the Caribbean, 60 miles east of Puerto Rico. They are a cluster of islands, of which only 16 are inhabited.
The Islands are surrounded by a large body of very sheltered water, making it a sailor’s paradise; the BVIs are known as nature’s little secrets and with good reason, the islands offer the most breathtaking scenery, with hundreds of secret bays, hidden coves, and stunning unspoiled white sandy beaches with wonderfully calm turquoise waters.
